Mindjet Maps

During my tenure as a Senior Visual Designer at Mindjet (now known as MindManager), spanning nearly two years, I undertook the pivotal role of shaping the visual identity across all Mindjet products, including desktop, web, tablet, and mobile platforms. My primary objective was to craft immersive and innovative user experiences by leveraging distinctive visual elements throughout the entire product spectrum.

My responsibilities encompassed the creation of compelling flow diagrams and high-fidelity mockups as integral components of the user experience design process. I strived to establish a cohesive visual language across the product suite, ensuring a seamless and intuitive interface for our users. Additionally, I meticulously prepared detailed visual design specifications adhering to established style guidelines.

Of the two flagship products offered by Mindjet, one was Mindjet Maps, a dynamic mind mapping tool, and the other, Mindjet Tasks, a robust task management application. Here, I aim to elucidate my contributions specifically within the context of Mindjet Maps.

Flowdiagram

Upon joining Mindjet, the company was in the process of consolidating users across both its flagship products. Despite being hired primarily as a Senior Visual Designer, the shortage of UX designers within our team prompted me to extend my role to encompass UX design as well. In response to this need, I took the initiative to develop a comprehensive flow diagram aimed at guiding our engineers in constructing the backend infrastructure and ensuring a seamless user journey. This initiative began in 2012. Presented below are the flow diagrams depicting the integration of user bases and the strategic routing to ensure users arrive at their intended destinations.
